Border Pest Control was started as a family business in December 1973. I was attending college at NMSU and worked with Dad in Summer back then. Here I am 42 years later wondering where did the time go? It's been a great ride! We cover 8 counties, 2 states and have 16 employees and are no doubt the largest company south of Albuquerque
The past few years we have seen an increase in rodent activity throughout southern New Mexico. This is likely due to more frequent rains and more vegetation. As the nights get cooler your home or business will radiate heat which will attract rodents. They will be more persistent than in the warmer months to find a warm place to take up residence. They can be quite destructive. They'll chew up just about anything to make a nest. Don't let them wreak havoc around your home. Call the "Pest-Pros" to set up perimeter baiting at the first sign of droppings or gnawing.
Hazards of a Pest Manager.. Surprise! Open rodent bait stations slowly in the Southwest, you never know what you'll find inside!
This was some really cool Harvester Ant Trails. If you are from the Southwest you've probably seen this before. But still it's pretty amazon how far these ants travel and the paths they create. I have seen them going at least 30 to 40 yards from the nest.
